Like many of you, I adore the Torchbearer Garlic Reaper. But it was just too damn hot as a daily driver. I wanted to slather it. I had dreams, needs.
Id bookmarked the sold out page for the OW My Garlic test series. I would go to the page and just stare longingly for hours on end. I felt the phantom limb of a sauce on my shelf that had never been brought to production.
I ordered it within 3 hours of Andy's post here that it was finally a legit sauce. It got here yesterday. I've put it on every meal since.
It's my new favorite sauce of all time. I'd say it's hotter than Cry Baby Craig, but not by much. But not nearly as thin as CBC, I've always want it to be as thick as Torchbearer sauces.
Easily palletable as a daily sauce, while being on the upper end of what I want from a daily driver. Immediately spice forward, and then helllllla garlic. Pokes it's head out of everything I've put it on without dominating the dish. Tastes very similar to Reaper Garlic. Also way less spicy than Puckerbutts Unique Garlique.
It's the perfect garlic sauce. My quest is over. I've found the one.

I tried the test sauce, and I’m really curious if I just got a bad bottle. I love Garlic Reaper, but my bottle of Ow My Garlic was thin and oily. Really turned me off. Been really pleased with my other Torchbearer purchases.

Just snagged a bottle! Hopefully it’s better than my last couple bottles of Garlic Reaper. Used to be my fav but my last couple bottles had this metallic aftertaste that really turned me off. Really need a replacement for it! 🤞

I’m looking forward to this one; my wife wants to get me a bunch of hot sauces for my birthday next month, so I’m waiting until then. Everything you’re saying here sounds like it keeps the spirit of Garlic Reaper without quite as much of a kick.
